Martin Slaughter

Martin co-founded Hartley McMaster in 1991, and has over 40 years of experience in management, IT and analytical consultancy in the UK and US. He has extensive project management, change/benefit management, and team leadership expertise. He is experienced in applying Quality Assurance to projects and communicating project findings, having presented to audiences ranging from UK Cabinet Ministers to junior administrative staff. Martin has worked for a wide range of clients across the public and private sectors, tackling projects ranging from high level strategic studies, through to detailed operational and implementation issues. His Operational Research background has allowed him to bring an analytical edge to his project work, searching for and providing hard evidence to back up findings and recommendations. Martin has a BA (Hons) in Physics from Keble College, Oxford. Outside of Hartley McMaster Martin is a busy granddad, home brewer, allotmenteer and football fan. He once played football at Wembley Stadium, but don’t ask him about it unless you have at least an hour to spare.
