Mike is a Data Science and Operational Research Consultant with a reputation for excellence, a strong academic record and 10 years of experience in the field. He has displayed strong capability in both rapid-response problem solving as well as in-depth model building. Software and platforms in which he is experienced in working are R, MS Excel, MS Access, FICO Xpress Mosel, VB.NET, VBA, SQL & RegEx, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, RStudio, and GitHub. Mike has an MPhys (Hons) in Physics from the University of Oxford. His more recent studies have included risk management, agility (or “Agile”), and Strategic Options Development and Analysis (SODA). Outside Hartley McMaster, Mike is a keen musician and often plays guitar and piano for his church.
